Meet Samson Madsen
Samson is a beautiful, blue eyed, Lynx point Siamese kitty. He and his litter mates were born in a stack of straw, to a feral mom, on a little farm in Utah County. When the tiny babies were discovered, the plan became to trap them when they were old enough to leave their mom, and find them good, safe, loving, indoor only new homes. Unfortunately, on the farm, although they were captured and kept safe from all of the dangers present on the farm (mostly a wide variety of predators), the rescuer was the only person that they were able to interact with. A foster home where more people lived that could help socialize them was simply not available. Samson is a sweet boy. He has never tried to bite or scratch his rescuer. However, he is under socialized. What that means is that he needs to go to a home where family members are dedicated to being extremely patient with him while he learns that other people can be kind and loving to him. He will need to be kept in a small room, like a bathroom, until he gets used to his new family, and won't want to just run under a bed and hide. This is an extremely important step in his adjustment to a new family, and truly will require patience. It could take weeks or even months for him to adequately adjust. But with the right home, he should become a loving family member for many years. It would be ideal if he could be adopted with his sister, Delilah. Because of his very shy and frightened nature at first, a home with either no children, or very calm, patient, older children would be best. He would not be well suited to a home with small children.
