Sammy's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update- Sammy had a long recovery but due to critical care from Susanne Hoshino, he is now available for adoption. His eye did not need to be removed but we believe he is blind in one eye. That does not stop him from interacting with the other cats and dogs in his foster home. He is very affectionate to humans.

Sammy was found by a Good Samaritan who then contacted Kindness Matters Rescue for help due to his injuries. His eye will need to be removed but he should do fine once healed. He was full of ticks and worms and was underweight but all those issues have been dressed. He will be available for adoption once he recovers.

Kindness Matters Rescue Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We currently use Facebook and outreach to showcase our animals for adoption. Potential adopters are directed to the website to fill out an adoption application which asks for information on home, other pets, family makeup, etc. We then conduct phone interviews and schedule a home visit. Once that is complete we set up a "meet and greet" and if all goes well we fill out our adoption contract.
