Meet Sammy
Sammy arrived with his family (siblings and mom), Maggie, Gracie, Morty and Sarah roughly a year ago. The confusion of moving from the only house they knew into a shelter setting has been very hard for all of them. They shut down for months and found humans absolutely terrifying; thankfully squeeze up treats finally helped them start to realize they truly were ok here. Moving into a new house and another adjustment in their lives is going to be scary for them all over again, but they deserve to find the most patient, loving families that will give them the time and space they need when they get overwhelmed. Sammy is one of the quieter ones of the group and will come up to be petted once he watches his more confident siblings getting love. He loves treats and does come zooming over for a yummy snack, so this may be a good way to help him feel safe. He will need adopted with one of his siblings as we want to make sure they have at least one constant in their life.
