Sammie is a beautiful Tortoiseshell cat. She is super affectionate has been very well cared for and socialized. She is used to being an indoor/outdoor kitty. She has had minimal interaction with other cats and wants to keep it that way, so a home where she would be the only kitty is best. Sammie is in foster care with an elderly couple until we can find her a home. They love her dearly but can't take care of her much longer. She needs to find a home urgently! Stone County Humane Society Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We approve adoptions over the phone by responding to a completed adoption application. Please go to our website schspets.org and complete an online application and someone will contact you. Our adoption fees are $150 for shelter dogs and $200 for Paws in Prison trained dogs, and $75 for cats. We take only cash or check no credit cards. We are open daily from 2 to 5 by appointment only (during the Pandemic). Volunteers are here Monday - Friday from 11 to 5 to answer the phone and help with adoptions.
