Sambal's Story

Hi I'm Sambal!

I'm new around here and although initially seemed confused and concerned about being at the shelter, I am now showing off my playful personality and fabulous feline looks more each day. I was very well loved in my first home, but my humans made the difficult decision to ask WAG to find me a new place more suited to my needs. I am a sweet young girl who just wants to be able to run around and chase wand toys and have all the attention on me. They tried very hard to make it work with my new human sibling, but with my high energy and antics it proved too much. I miss them all very much but hope to find a new fam who can match my needs and will be keen to keep me entertained without the worry of a baby around. For that reason it would be best for me to start my next chapter in a home without kiddos or any imminent arrivals! It is unknown if I would be ok with an animal sibling, but given that I have not lived with cats since birth and go on high alert when the dogs pass my room at WAG it might be better for me a to be a solo cat for now. All the other residents of the shelter at in foster homes so we don't have the opportunity to test this with a well suited cat candidate, and of course the aim is to keep my stress levels low and help me relax and settle in as a priority. Saying that, I hope I won't be waiting at WAG for long for my next crew to find me. I adore treats of all kinds, I am not fussy about my food and will be a great addition to your home if you give me the chance! I enjoy spending time with the staff and volleys, brushing my body around their legs and initiating pets and affection. I will let you know when I've had enough though! I'm not a lap-cat by any means so far but I have not been displaying any signs of 'aggression', I gently swat you with my paws (no nails out!) and its time to stop until I initiate again. Oh and did I mention I love playtime?

Keep an eye on my profile as the team learns more about me, or if I have already won you over with my beautiful looks and lively personality then go ahead, what are you waiting for? Fill in an application form today as the first step in the process of bringing me home!

Visit www.whistlerwag.com to find out more and apply.
