Meet Samantha! <br/><br/>Samantha is a sweet, gentle kitten who got her start at Columbus Lowndes Humane Society before coming into the care of Operation Colony Cats at just a couple of weeks old. Like so many kittens who enter shelters in the South, her survival depended on dedicated, hands-on care. Thanks to loving bottle feeders, Samantha was given the chance to grow, thrive, and blossom into the affectionate little girl she is today.<br/><br/>Though she isn't from the same litter as Abygirl, Samantha has been raised alongside her and three other kittens, and they've truly become sisters. Samantha is slightly more reserved at first, taking a moment to observe and feel safe—but once she does, her loving personality shines. She's gentle, affectionate, and deeply bonded to her people and her kitten companions.<br/><br/>Samantha enjoys wand toys, chasing games, and playful wrestling sessions with her foster siblings, followed by long, cozy cat naps. She has a healthy appetite, excellent litter box habits, and is completely comfortable around dogs, thanks to growing up in a foster home with both cats and dogs.<br/><br/>Samantha would thrive in a home with children, other cats, or friendly dogs, and she'd do best with a playful companion like her sister Abygirl. If you're looking for a sweet, loving kitten who blossoms with a little patience and a lot of love, Samantha may be the perfect match for your family. <br/><br/>Everybody loves kittens, and it's not hard to see why! Bringing home a kitten (or two!) means your home is about to be 1000% more adorable. Because kittens are much happier with a feline friend, we only adopt kittens who are under 4 months old out in pairs, or to families who already have a resident friendly cat playmate. If you are looking for a solo cat, please consider one of our friendly available older kittens, teens or adults!<br/><br/>All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
