Sam's Story

Meet Sam: Your Future Couch Cuddler!

Looking for a kitty companion.. look no further. Sam is that guy, who just wants to be near you and keep you company.

Say hello to Sam, a 10 year old FIV+ cat with a heart full of love and a purr that’ll melt your soul! This sweetie pie may take a few days to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’s all in—think gentle head bumps, cozy cuddles, and endless affection. Sam’s a laid-back guy who dreams of a loving home where he can spend his golden years lounging on a couch or bed, soaking up all the pets you can give.

Despite missing a few teeth, Sam’s appetite is unstoppable, and he savors every meal with gusto. He’s super chill, gets along well in a safe environment, and isn’t fazed by children, making him a versatile companion. Sam thrives on companionship and will happily be your shadow, offering quiet comfort and love.

About FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus): Don’t let Sam’s FIV+ status scare you—it’s easy to manage! FIV+ cats like Sam can live long, healthy lives with simple care: a nutritious diet, regular vet checkups, and a stress-free indoor environment. Sam can even live with other cats if they’re compatible, as FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, which is rare in peaceful households. With a little love and attention, Sam will thrive and reward you with years of devotion.

What adopters should know: Sam’s ideal home is calm and loving, where he can feel secure and cherished. He’d love a cozy spot to nap, some quality time with his humans, and maybe a few treats to satisfy his hearty appetite.

He is not high maintenance. Easy going, chill and goes with the flow.

Our rescue has already given him the dental extractions that he needed and did a full senior panel on him.

Ready to give this gentle, sweet man the forever home he deserves? Sam’s waiting to share his love and cuddles with you!

Fill out our adoption questionnaire so you can meet Sam at his foster home in Redwood City, CA

https://form.jotform.com/pinkpawsftc/adoption
