Sally's Story

Sally is a petite, sweet but shy torbie/calico who is approximately 1-2 years old. She has the most luxuriously soft, slightly fluffy, thick fur with gorgeous calico markings (orange, brown and white). She’s named after the character Sally in Nightmare Before Christmas because we think she looks like someone pieced her together from an orange tabby, brown tabby, and white kitty! She’s fully vetted and UTD on all vaccines, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and negative for FIV and FeLV. Sally had a litter of kittens at Kings Dominion prior to coming into our rescue. Even though her kittens were already weaned, we had planned to release her back to the park to reunite her with them, but Sally had other plans… We tried twice to release her back and both times she refused to come out of her carrier. We think she enjoyed her indoor stay at our sanctuary and decided it was time for her to retire from working park kitty life. We can’t say that we blame her and were happy oblige! Although she’s still a bit skittish, she’s adjusted very well to human contact and indoor kitty life. She’s done well with other cats she’s met in our sanctuary and even did okay meeting a small Beagle! Sally is currently with a foster, but we’d love to find her a permanent, furrever home!

Please reach out for more information! Adoption link can be found on our organization page.
