Sally's Story

Meet Sally – The Queen of the Cat Tree

Sally is a beautiful brown tabby mama with a heart as big as her personality. This young lady stepped up like a true hero, nursing and caring for not just her own kitten, but two others in need when they arrived in foster. Protective and proud, Sally took her mama duties very seriously—and loved those kittens like her own.

These days, Sally is slowly learning that she can relax and trust. While she still has her shy moments of chilling behind her cat tree, she now comes out immediately when her foster mom comes into the room, brushes up against her legs over and over and wants all the attention and pets. She purrs endlessly and even enjoys being held now for short periods of time. She has come SO far!! Think of her as a fiercely independent lady who might secretly enjoy affection but won't admit it right away. Now that her kittens have been adopted, she is happy to go back to just being the young, playful diva she deserves to be.

Sally's favorite thing? Lounging like royalty on the top of the cat tree, surveying her kingdom with a satisfied purr. Because of her shy personality àt first, she'd do best in a calm home with no young children (who may not respect her space.) She probably would love to be an only cat where she can be the center of attention and love—just the way she likes it. But she has lived with many cats before and does fine.

If you're looking for a loyal, independent companion with a warrior mama heart and sunbathing queen vibes, Sally might just be your perfect match.
