When she is awake, she likes to investigate her surroundings - what's behind the door, under the bed, in the box, down the stairs, going on inside the shower, up your pants leg. Salem loves hide and seek with her brother, Binxy - chasing, wrestling, making things go bump (and crash, and boom) in the night. When she winds down, she loves the companionship and comfort of cuddling with her mama. She is good about being handled, although she has too much to do to be held for very long. She is a little vocal - she'll scream for help when you trim her claws or pick her up when she's not expecting it. Salem is litterbox trained. She is good with other cats. <br/>Salem has been in foster care since birth. Her mother, Private, was rescued while pregnant and has lovingly raised her. Salem needs a companion - if she and her mother could be adopted together, that would be ideal.
