Meet Salem! Salem is a gorgeous torti mix girl born around June 2, 2026, and she is a curious, bold, mischievous little adventurer with plenty of personality! Salem loves exploring her surroundings and is always looking for her next adventure. If there is a high point in the room, you can bet Salem will find it. She loves climbing, exploring, and keeping an eye on everything happening around her. This clever girl has plenty of favorite pastimes, including chasing crinkly paper balls, sitting in empty boxes (the smaller, the better!), enjoying chin scratches, and watching birds through the window. Salem is affectionate with her people but definitely has an adventurous streak. She likes doing things on her own terms and would much rather continue an exciting exploration than be picked up in the middle of it! Salem also has a wonderfully silly side. She will stalk her own shadow across the hallway with complete seriousness, wiggle her little behind, pounce—and then look around as though she absolutely meant to miss. It's just one of the many things that makes Salem so much fun to have around.<br/>Salem has been around children ages 7–12 and does well with them. We believe she could live happily with children of any age who understand the importance of being gentle with animals. She has also been around her sisters, Hazel and Autumn, and the three girls are very playful together. Salem could certainly be adopted with one of her sisters, but she is also ready to find a loving family of her own. Salem is litter box trained and does not need someone home with her all day. She would fit well into just about any family and should be perfectly comfortable with a first-time pet owner. Her combination of confidence, intelligence, affection, and playful curiosity makes her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a kitten with a big personality. Salem is spayed and current on her vaccines.
