Sake''s Story
Sake' is a striking all-white Angora mix, about three years old, who was surrendered because he didn't ger along with the other cats in his home. He is a rub-up-against-you cat, he's a curl-up-next-to-you cat, he's a roll-over-for-belly-rubs cat, but he's not a get-along-with-other-cats cat. He was not happy about losing the only home he had ever known, but, soon after entering his foster home, he realized that he was in a safe place with people who were being nice to him, and his affectionate nature emerged enjoys being pet. Sake' loves to play, and will happily jump onto the sofa to curl up by his foster mom. We haven’t seen him around dogs or children yet, but he doesn't like loud, sudden noises, so a home with the bustle of very young children probably would not be best for him.
We believe he’d likely do well with older kids who know how to interact gently with cats. Sake' would do best in an interactive home where he isn’t left alone for long hours. Whoever is fortunate enough to adopt this little guy will gain a devoted companion for life. Sake' seems like an easy cat who would be suitable for a first-time adopter.

He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. His adopter will receive his medical records. He’s being fostered in Brighton. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. In Sake's case, it's a mere $255-- a bargain for a new best friend. Cats can live up to 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with your phone number and a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps rescuers match cats with the right adopters.
.
