Sage & Rosemary's Story
Say "meow" to Sage and Rosemary. These sweet girls lost their human and their home when their human passed away. The people who cleaned out the house left these loving kitties in a cage out on the curb. The cage was filthy and the kitties were scared and dirty. They each had also just had a litter recently. They were rescued and brought to a warm, loving foster home where they were fed and cleaned up, taken to the vet for an examination, spaying, vaccinations and chips. They were very scared and confused but never aggressive. Now that they are healed from spaying, they are out of a cage and exploring and playing. Sage is 7 months to a year old and is an adventurous little girl. She nuzzles and purrs readily, loves to look out the window and really enjoys a good head and butt scritch. She likes to play in tunnels and with ball-track toys, crinkle balls and mouse toys. She does not appear to like dogs. Sage is very bonded to Rosemary who appears to be between 1 and 2 years old and is a bit smaller than Sage. Rosemary is a sweetheart but very scared and timid. She is starting to allow head scratches. Sudden moves still send her running under the bed but there is progress. With Sage's encouragement, Rosemary has come out to play and explore as long as the people in the room are still. She will build her courage as her situation becomes more permanent. Both Sage and Rosemary have very sweet and loving personalities and will make wonderful cuddlers once they feel safe in their forever home. They are bonded, so we prefer that they be adopted together.

To learn more about Rosemary and Sage, and other pets available for adoption, please visit www.animalfriendsoflansdowne.org

To submit an adoption application, please utilize the link below.
https://animalfriendsoflansdowne.org/adoption-application

Animal Friends of Lansdowne is a non-profit, all-volunteer community rescue, now in their twenty-first year.
