Sage's Story

Sage is a lovely 3-year-old calico with a big heart and a very affectionate personality. She was surrendered when her owner moved away and had a hard time adjusting to living with other cats at the New Hope shelter, so she was placed in a foster home. After a brief adjustment period she quickly settled in and is now thriving. She loves greeting you with enthusiastic leg rubs and sweet little chirps asking for pets. Once you sit with her, Sage is ready for snuggles - head bumps on your chin and forehead, the occasional nose kiss, making biscuits on your lap, and curling up for cuddles while purring and trilling the whole time. She's also playful and enjoys her toys. She has an independent side and is perfectly happy relaxing nearby for a nap. Sage uses her litter box reliably, loves her scratching post, and hasn't scratched furniture. She currently lives with two dogs and does well with them, but she would need to be, and remain, the only cat in her home. She would do best in a calm household with teens or adults. Sage is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. Will you provide Sage with a quiet, stable home and give her time to settle in and relax? Contact us at 519-836-9780 (Monday-Friday 8am-1pm only) or by email at NHARescueguelph@gmail.com and we will arrange for a meet and greet!
