Sage's Story

Sage is a stunning 8-9 month old tabby boy who was surrendered to the rescue when he was about 4 months old for being “bad.” It seems Sage was raised as an only kitten, so he was very high energy and bitey because he didn’t learn from other cats. Sage has done amazing since coming to the rescue, and is beyond ready to find a forever home. He can be grumbly with new cats as he gets to know them, but can live with other cats or as an only cat. He has grown out of his crazy phase and still gives occasional nips but never hard (he is not aggressive at all, just typical young kitty!) He is super sweet and a total mush. Brick City Kitties Rescue's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters need to complete our adoption application and be willing to share landlord, family, and veterinarian information with us so that we can verify application claims. Upon approval they will be granted a virtual or in person meet and greet. A virtual or in person home visit is preferred but if not it can be done when cat is brought to his new home. This is a precautionary measure so that Brick City Kitties Rescue can see for themselves where their cat(s) will be housed as well as the condition of any other house pets. A follow up visit or wellness check is typically agreed upon as well. BCK Rescue wants to take every possible measure to make sure that it's cats will have the best possible homes. It is our intention to keep our rescued pets from being put back on the streets and from being neglected or harmed in any way.
