Private Investigator Saffron was born in the shelter and raised in a foster home, where her unique and wonderfully quirky personality truly began to shine. She is not a typical “people cat” and prefers to interact on her own terms. With patience—and a little help from treats or food—Saffron will allow a few gentle pets, but she does not enjoy being picked up and needs her boundaries respected.<br/><br/>While she may be reserved with people, Saffron truly thrives in the company of other cats. She is extremely feline-social, forming strong bonds with her companions through cuddling, grooming, and play. She would do best in a home with other friendly cats who can help her feel secure and confident.<br/><br/>Saffron enjoys observing the world from above and can often be found perched high, quietly supervising while meals are being prepared. She has a playful side too—feather toys are her favorite, and she can leap nearly two feet into the air to catch them. With proper time and a slow transition, she may also do well as an indoor/outdoor cat.<br/><br/>Saffron will need a patient home that understands she requires time to acclimate to new people and environments.
