Sadie & Tucker's Story

Meet Sadie and Tucker, a bonded sister and brother pair who are looking for their forever home together. Sadie and Tucker were born in September 2018.

They can both be shy at first, but once they feel comfortable with you, their personalities will shine. They love treats, soft food and playing with toys, including the laser light.

Sadie is the most outgoing of the two and warmed up the quickest. She seeks human attention and will chat with you as she follows you around. She seems to love male, human energy and will rub up against your legs and will jump onto your lap. She loves to be petted. She sometimes can get jealous when you give your attention to other cats by chasing them away from you.

Tucker is a bit more timid and will take a bit more time to warm up, but once he feels comfortable with you, he will come up on the sofa with you looking for attention. He sometimes has a lot to say. He loves his sister.

They would do best in a home with just the two of them as pets or a home with another male cat already in the home who likes other cats as Tucker seems to gravitate towards male cats (he follows one of his foster’s male cats around the home daily).

They are both easily startled so they will need a quiet home with no young children (children under the age of 12).

We are not sure how they would do in a home with a dog as they have not been exposed to dogs while in our care.

If you are interested in adopting Sadie and Tucker, please contact us at frederictoncarma@gmail.com.

As of October 2024 the adoption donations will be:

- Adult cat (over 12 months): $125
- Kitten (12 months and under): $200

So, you've found your potential new best friend... send us an email and we'll get the ball rolling for you! All cats and kittens available for adoption by CARMA Fredericton are treated to ensure they do not have fleas, ear mites, roundworm, tapeworms, or heartworm. They are spayed/neutered and vaccinated at Ca-R-Ma's expense. We do not sell cats or kittens; instead we request that adopters donate to our spay/neuter fund. This amount can change from time to time - please check with our volunteers for the current minimum donation. CARMA does not have a shelter but instead relies on a network of loving foster homes to help us socialize and care for adoptable cats.
