She likes to explore and nap. She would love to nap in the warm sun!<br/><br/>Animal Characteristics: Sadie is a sweet, gentle, curious, chill young kitty. She is special and miraculous since she is blind, yet finds her way around and plays happily, following a proper and patient introduction to her peaceful new space. Both of Sadies’ eyes had to be removed after she was found with a serious infection, but she needs no further medical treatment and is a healthy, thriving girl! She loves to be brushed, pet and played with. She likes to take a little time to sniff and get to know you before head bunting for pets and laying down next to you for a nap. She adapts well to a new environment as long as she feels safe and not threatened by animals or anything else that feels alarming or unsafe. Sadie loves touch but feels unsure if she is picked up or placed in a new location. She needs a caring adopter who can research best care techniques for a blind cat. For example, textured mats help her locate her food, water and litter box.
