Sadie's Story
Sadie is a short-haired dark tabby spayed female, born in late 2016. She is presented here as a Lending A Helping Paw cat, along with her "sister" Ramona, meaning they are with their owners and the owners will make the adoption arrangements.<br/><br/>Here's what Sadie's owners say about her: "She has a soft tabby gray coat and has been a really great cat. She has a sweet, mellow personality and loves to lounge, brush up against legs, and receive lots of head scratches. When we have company over, she likes to come out and say hello provided it's not too loud. She is very good about using scratching posts/pads and very rarely scratches things she shouldn't. She has been very gentle and patient with our young toddler daughter and would do well in a house with kids provided they are gentle with her. If things get uncomfortable, she will go and hide. We have never seen her lash out or scratch our daughter, even when she is grabbed. At night she keeps quiet and doesn't disturb us as we sleep. She shares our house with another cat, so she would do well in a multi-cat household. We are looking to rehome Sadie because we are adding to our growing family, and she has some respiratory and eating issues that we don't have the financial resources to properly address. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her rabies vaccine. Sadie would be a wonderful addition to any household who would be willing and able to invest into her healthcare. She will repay you many times over with snuggles and tender affection."<br/><br/>To learn more about Sadie and/or Ramona, fill out ACAT's preadoption application, and their owners will reach out to you.For general information, contact ACAT at 982-2228. Serious inquiries should complete ACAT's preadoption application found on the adoptables gallery page of our website.
