Sabrina the bobtail sweetheart's Story
Meet our sweet Sabrina! Sabrina arrived at the shelter needing care urgently. Her tail was badly injured and required immediate amputation. She also required spay surgery.
This resilient girl had reportedly been living outside for two years before being surrendered.

She has fully recovered from her two surgeries and has graduated to the free roam room to see how she did with the other cats. Now that’s we’ve gotten the opportunity to get to know her out of her cage, she has the sweetest demeanor. She is extremely non-confrontational with the other cats. We suspect her tail injury had bothered her for a long time, causing her to instinctively tuck her tail a lot (which she is unlearning) giving her a funny little swagger at times. The hair on her little bobtail is growing back and once it’s fluffy like the rest of her it’s going to be adorable! She wags her little tail nub like a dog and it’s just too cute. Sabrina is extremely laid back. She naps a lot and absolutely loves to be pet. We think she’d appreciate a quiet house with older children. She is great with other cats but may be ok as an only pet. How she feels about dogs is unknown but based on her laid back personality she may do well with a calm, cat-savvy dog that respects her space. Come meet this sweet girl daily, 11-1pm.

Sabrina is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm disease. *Questions about Sabrina?
