Sabrinas early life wasn’t exactly glamorous. She’s a tough cookie, growing up under a porch and learning early on how to fend for herself. But this girl is a fighter with a spirit that absolutely shines. She’s blossomed into a feisty, chatty young cat who believes every moment is an opportunity to perform. She sings often (practices like she’s prepping for her next concert) and loves to hold full conversations. Behind the sass, Sabrina is incredibly gentle. She was a teen mom who raised two wonderful kittens with tenderness and devotion, proving she’s as nurturing as she is strong. Now that her babies are grown, she’s ready for her own chapter — one where she gets to be the pampered one. Sabrina is still adjusting to indoor life and its many strange mysteries (slamming cabinets are her current nemesis), but she has made huge strides in a short time. She’s curious, brave, and shows more confidence each week. She loves to lay alongside her people, and she’s slowly working her way towards cuddling.<br/><br/>She’d likely enjoy a friendly young feline companion, though she hasn’t been fully tested with animals outside of her kittens. For Christmas, Sabrina is wishing for a home that appreciates her short n’ sweet nature, her witchy little instincts, and her talent for pop-star drama. If your family would benefit from the addition of a familiar, or a pop star (or both), Sabrina might just be your girl. She’s ready for her second shot at happy.<br/><br/>Sabrina is a 9-month-old mixed breed. This cat's adoption fee is $150 and includes vaccinations, microchip, spay, and FeLV/FIV test. We would love for you to meet this cat and see if she might be a good fit for your home.<br/><br/>The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.<br/><br/>We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)<br/><br/>Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.<br/><br/>Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting an adoption event on December 6th.
