Sabrina's Story

Sweet, shy Sabrina is looking for a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved.

This cute cat is about 6 years old.

She is back in our care after originally being adopted by a shelter volunteer in 2022. (Sabrina was originally named Crash then renamed Fish Stick by her adopter. We decided this lovely girl needed a fresh start and a beautiful name that better suits her so now she is Sabrina.) Her last home was just too rowdy for this mellow, meek girl, and so she's now looking for a better fit.

This sweet, affectionate cat is not thriving in the shelter -- she's been losing some weight and she stay curled up in her cubby a lot -- but if you spend a little time with her, you'll find that she is a love bug with a big purr, and SHE LOVES HAVING FRIENDS OVER FOR DINNER! We've discovered that she eats best if she has company. She loves having visitors.

Call 913-335-0788 for an appointment or more information.

Drop by at 510 Organ Ave. to meet adoptable pets noon to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, or by appointment as needed.

Submit an adoption application online at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FLSF/Cat.

ADOPTED June 2022, but returned to our care June 2026.
Looking for a low-key, loving home.
