Sweet Sabrina who is 16 months old, fully vetted, spayed and healthy, desperately needs a home placement. She showed up in a yard 8 months ago trying to get inside for days. Foster took her inside and tried to keep her since the rescue was overwhelmed, but she is a complete nervous wreck around the other cats in the home who are constantly stalking her and attacking her. She is stuck in a small room for 90% of the day as a result. She is an absolute LOVE. When the cats are not around, she is very calm, loving, and sweet, and loves being held while getting lots of kisses and smooshes!! She likes playing with toys but otherwise is not very active. Doesn't climb or jump much at all and is pretty content laying on the couch.. She becomes a purring machine and her favorite activity is snuggling on a couch or bed with her human...she is very much a lap cat. She can do many tricks like sit, paw, or catch a toy in her mouth on command! She would prefer a quiet home if possible as she got used to just the one foster mother and an occasional visitor. I'm sure she would adjust to another kind of environment however. She MAY adjust to another cat or especially a kitten but the current cats are bullies and dominating and she has experienced stress from them and gets . She as a result gets defensive and hisses as they approach but never ever swats ot defends herself physically...she just sits there and gets attacked by them. Sabrina is VERY shy with new visitors and will need time and patience to see who she really is. Last potential adopter visited her for over an hour to see her real personality.
