Sabrina's Story
Sabrina was loved and socialized as a kitten, but then tossed out on the street when her owner died. By the time she was rescued, she came into foster care with five kittens of her own and looked positively haggard. Now that all her babies are adopted, Sabrina is relaxed and ready to find a new home. She wasn't very sure about any humans in the beginning, but this sweet girl has come all the way out of her shell. She can be a little shy with strangers at first - understandably - but she's getting braver all the time, facing down the foster home's dog and learning about these happy places called "laps". She has gotten on the bed a few times and seems interested in learning to cuddle. Some simple indoor-cat things are wondrous mysteries for her, and she's eager to learn.Sabrina might be afraid at first in a new environment, but based on her amazing progress in her foster home, we believe she would do well with other friendly cats, and even (respectful) dogs and children. She is curious and energetic and loves to run around and play, but her favorite thing is pets and scritches from her favorite human. She stands on her hind legs and grabs at your hand for attention.Sabrina was born sometime in spring 2020. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. This beautiful tortie is loving her second chance at the indoor life, and is just waiting to complete your family.Interested in adopting Sabrina or one of our other wonderful kitties?
