Sabine & Delphine (bonded pair)'s Story
Sabine (2) and Delphine (1) are the bonded mother/daughter duo your home has been missing. As tuxedos, they’re already dressed in their formal wear and are excited to meet you.

While Sabine may be the mom, she is just a baby herself. She is a stocky short hair who loves cuddling almost as much as she loves running up and down the stairs. She is an expert string and feather hunter, meowing in victory when she’s caught her prey but is relatively quiet the rest of the day. She speaks in squeaks and has a low, but lovely purr. She is easy to handle, tolerating being picked up and held in a myriad of positions such as a baby cradle or anything with her feet supported. She also allows tummy touches.

While she often takes a much earned mom break in the sun from daughter Delphine, she will wake up and call for her. She grooms Delphine every day and they go to bed for the night sleeping in a pile.

Delphine is the daughter and wants to do whatever Sabine is doing. She speaks in squeaks and orbits in circles. Her purr motor is easily primed and never runs out of gas. She shimmies her fluffy tail when she is excited (no, she’s not spraying. Just dancing!). She’s head shy but loves being pet on her back. She’ll flop over and show you her tummy, but beware. Her white tummy is a tempting trap to get you to play with her. She loves saucy foods and hunting hair ties. She uses the litter box expertly and will supervise you in the bathroom with Sabine.

Collectively, these two are so sweet and even tempered. They care for each other, play with each other, and sleep together. They adapted to the schedule of their foster home with shocking speed and wait politely for breakfast and dinner on the stair landing. Wether you’re in and out all day or a home body, these girls will fit right into your life however you live it.

Sabine is FIV positive. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is a virus that affects cats, weakening their immune system over time. However, many FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy, and happy lives with proper care. The key is maintaining a stress-free environment, providing good nutrition, regular vet visits, and watching for any signs of illness. FIV isn’t easily spread—it's mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds, so FIV-positive cats can often live with other non-aggressive cats without issue (like her daughter, Delphine, who does not have FIV). For most owners, having a cat with FIV just means being a little more mindful of their health, but it's definitely not a big deal.

Interested in meeting or adopting these sweet kitties?
