BrightSide Animal Center's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process:
Bring your entire family to meet your prospective new family member. We want to see how everyone interacts with the animal.
All adoptions are first come first serve based on approval. We do not do any holds for any reason.
Bring your current dog(s) with you so we can conduct a required “meet and greet” to get a feeling for how the new addition will integrate into your home.
If you do not own your home, landlord approval is required.
We will discuss the animals individual needs with you to determine if your home sounds like the right fit.
If we feel that you are a good match for the animal, you will fill out an application on site. After approval of the application you will pay the adoption fee, and then take your new animal home that day!
Please keep in mind that the staff at BrightSide Animal Center will make the final decision on the adoption. If we feel that the animal is not right for you, we will decline the adoption. This is ultimately for your protection and the animals well-being.
