S'Amigo's Story

S'Amigo is an orange sweetheart with a heart of gold. After spending much of his life as an outdoor-only cat, he's now discovering just how wonderful indoor life can be with cozy beds, full meals, and the quiet comfort of a safe home.

He's still learning that people can always be kind, so he may take a little time to warm up to new faces. Sudden movements can startle him, and he does best in a calm, predictable environment where his boundaries are respected. Because of this, S'Amigo would thrive in a home without young children. But give him patience and consistency, and he adjusts beautifully, forming deep, meaningful bonds.

S'Amigo absolutely loves other cats. He enjoys playful interactions, cuddling up with his feline friends, and would do best in a home with a friendly companion (with a slow, proper introduction). He's also quite the character: vocal, smart, and attentive. He responds to his name, loves perching by the window to watch the birds, and has a playful, energetic side that comes out with scratching posts and toys.

When he's not exploring or socializing, you'll often find him curled up in a cozy bed, soaking in the peaceful life he's come to enjoy.

S'Amigo is FIV+, which means he has a weakened immune system, but cats with FIV can live long, happy lives without serious symptoms. FIV is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds, so as long as there is no serious fighting, FIV+ cats can safely live with other cats.

With time, patience, and love, S'Amigo is ready to become a loyal, affectionate companion. He's looking for someone who will give him the chance to trust and in return, he'll give you his whole heart
