S'Amigo's Story

S'Amigo was an outside only cat when we first trapped. He is getting used to being inside and constant human touch. He loves to be around other cats and is very playful.

With the right person and amount of patience, S'Amigo will make someone a great house cat!

Please note that S'Amigo is FIV+ ; this means he has a weakened immune system, but cats with FIV can live for many years without serious symptoms. FIV is hard to transmit, and is most often transmitted by biting; as long as there is no fighting to the point of deep puncture wounds, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that are negative for the virus with minimal risk of transmission. We believe that S'Amigo will be fine with other cats given a slow introduction.
