When her kittens were trapped and brought into foster, the plan for Rye was simple: TNR and send her back out. But Rye had other plans. The moment she realized she was safe, this beautiful one-year-old tortoiseshell showed everyone who she really is — and she is incredibly sweet. Friendly, gentle, and so appreciative of love, Rye has proven she didn't want the outdoor life... she wanted her life. Rye gets along well with other cats and absolutely melts for ear scratches. She'll lean right into your hand and close her eyes like she's been waiting her whole life for that moment. She's calm, affectionate, and would thrive in a quieter home where she can cuddle up in cozy beds, stretch out in sunny windows, and finally just relax. She is now: • Spayed • Vaccinated • FIV/FELV negative • Microchipped After surviving life outside and raising her babies, Rye deserves a soft landing and a family who will treasure her the way she treasures a good ear scratch. Thank you for looking at Sloppy Kisses to adopt your new furry family member! Here is some information about our adoption process: If you are interested in adopting a dog please complete our online adoption application at https://www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions . Note there are different applications for dogs and cats. Once received we will check your references and be in touch with you. If you haven't heard back from us and it has been more then 72 hrs please feel free to email us at adopt@sloppykisses.org. Many of our dogs go to our adoption events. For information on when and where our next event will be please check out FaceBook Page at https://www.facebook.com/SloppyKissesAnimalRescue. To adopt a dog at one of our events we recommend having an approved application on file with us PRIOR to the event. If you are interested in an adult dog we will try and set up a meet and greet between you and the dog with the foster family after you have completed the adoption application. Not all of the adult dogs attend adoption events. We may also require that you foster the dog for a couple of weeks prior to adopting it to ensure that it is a good fit.
