Ruthie

Ruthie
Est DOB 9/1/26
Adoption fee $225

Ruthie is a tiny, petite little tabby who found herself in an uncertain situation through no fault of her own. She was brought to a spay clinic to be fixed, but she was simply too little for the procedure. The person who found her would have had to return her to the streets, where she would once again be on her own.

Thankfully, the spay clinic reached out to LapCats for help. Nobody wanted this precious little baby to end up back outside, vulnerable to all the dangers that come with life on the streets.

We happened to have an open foster spot and paired her up with another young kitten named Shadow. Since then, the two of them have been nonstop playing companions.

This sweet little girl is a ball of energy with a big personality. Ruthie is a little purring machine. She will greet you with the loudest and longest pur, showing you she is always happy to see you. If you're looking with a companion who will be your little shadow and never tires of playing, cuddling with you in bed, smothering you with kitty kissed, and wanting all your attention and love, Ruthie is your girl.

She is outgoing, playful, loving, brave, adventurous, and curious. She loves full body massages, playing, chasing and wrestling with Shadow, and cuddling after a full day of play and adventures.

Just like all kittens, she will need a feline companion similar in personality in her new home. She can be adopted with Shadow or into a home with an existing young cat.

The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
