Rusty is one serious sweet-heart looking for a forever home to spend the rest of his days!<br/><br/>Rusty was surrendered by his original family that had him since he was a kitten, Sadly, they could no longer care for him. Thankfully, he has adjusted well to all the change!<br/><br/><br/>Rusty is an easygoing adult gentleman who’s all about the simple joys in life—attention, affection, and a cozy lap to call his own. He absolutely loves being around his people and will happily curl up with you for hours while you read a book or binge your favorite shows.<br/><br/><br/><br/>He’s dog and cat savvy, though like any well-mannered guy, he may take a day or two to warm up to new roommates. Once he settles in, he’s as friendly as they come—Rusty has truly never met a stranger!<br/><br/><br/><br/>If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will stick by your side and soak up all the love you have to give, Rusty is your guy. 🐾<br/><br/>Rusty does have the beginnings of GI disease (suspect IBD) and this is currently being managed with a prescription GI diet and a daily pill that he takes readily in food!<br/><br/>Rusty is simply looking for a home willing to love him despite his medical needs! <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Rusty is:<br/>- Vaccinated (Rabies and FVRCP)<br/>- Flea/tick treated<br/>- Dewormed<br/>-Neutered<br/><br/>ACAR is a foster based rescue dedicated to giving pets a second chance. By being foster based it allows for optimal socialization with other pets, people and home life. Any interested adopters are required to fill out an application. All other pets in the home must be up to date on core vaccinations and established with a current veterinarian.<br/><br/>ACAR cats must go to indoor only homes and are to never be declawed.
