Rusty's Story

Rusty is a hammy orange tabby who loves to be up high and survey the world below like it's his kingdom. He's not the cuddliest cat around, but occasionally will allow some chin scratches from his people. <br/><br/>Rusty also loves hidey holes, and will do his best to find one when things get overwhelming for him. He would probably do best in a quieter home.<br/><br/>Rusty was a stray originally, so we do not know how he is around dogs. He is fine around other cats.

Rescue Me's Adoption Policy

Anyone who adopts is required to complete an adoption application. After we have confirmed their personal animals are well cared for and they have no criminal past, we set them up to meet the kitten. If the kitten and the potential adopter are a match we complete a home visit. The home visit reviews our policy and we make sure the home is prepared and safe for the cat. The adopter then signs a contract and pays fee. The adopter can then arrange for pickup.
