Rusty's Story

My name is Rusty. Once upon a time, I had a home with some humans. Then something must have happened, because the next thing I knew I was outside on my own. I was very afraid. One day, I scooted across a road and something hit me. For some time, I dragged myself around in pain. Then one of those two legged creatures tried to trap me! To my surprise, they took me to a place where it was warm, I had a soft bed, and lots of food, water and petting. I was loved again, but I was still in pain. Then I went on another trip and saw more nice people who prodded me and gave me something that made me sleepy. When I awoke, most of my pain was gone, they had fixed my bones, and I could move easily again. Now I greet those two-legged creatures with rubbing and happy sounds! I'm shy but I'm coming around. I hang out with the other cats in my foster home, and I tolerate the dogs. I’m hoping to find a forever place with nice two-legged creatures and couches and beds and toys where I can be forever happy. I’m about 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and ready for you!
