Meet Rustler! This 2-year-old male is looking for a new fur-ever home. Rustler can be a bit shy around new people, so moving at his pace will benefit him greatly. He may take a decent bit of time to adjust in a new environment. He appreciates somewhere quiet and comfortable and likes any human interactions to be on his own terms. Once he does settle in, he will head-butt to initiate pets and hang out around you. Rustler is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Bucks County SPCA Lahaska's Adoption Policy

We offer same-day adoptions and a welcoming adoption process. Step 1) Come to the shelter to meet the animal in person. Step 2) Complete a short adoption application. You will need to provide identification that shows your current address. If you are ready to adopt, you can pay the adoption donation fee and take your new companion home that day. You can pay a small deposit to place a 24-hour hold if you decide to adopt but need time to introduce other family members, including dog-dog meet and greets, or get supplies.
