Tama County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

See an animal that you like? Give us a call or send us an email and/or facebook message anytime. Adoption fees for Cats a year and under are $30.00 and a year and above are $20.00, and Puppies under 1 year are $200.00 and Dogs a year and above are $150.00. This includes basic vaccinations & spaying/neutering. ALL animals are spayed/neutered before leaving our shelter. Out-of-state adoptions allowed if adoption criteria met. Volunteers may be able to assist you with transportation issues. 1406 East 5th Street, Tama, Iowa. Just an hour away from Cedar Rapids, Cedar Falls, Waterloo, and Des Moines. We are open every day 7am-11am except Sunday's and our animals can be visited also by appointment. Just give us a call, contact us on Facebook or by email.
