Meet Rush! This little guy is ready to be Closer to [Your] Heart and has every quality you could possibly want in a feline companion. He enjoys being around people and is the first of his siblings to run towards his foster mom and dad when he sees them. His meows will tell you how eager he is to be scooped up and pet... then come the purrs! So. many. purrs. Rush is more than affectionate; he's very lively and playful - seemingly always in the Limelight when humans are around. When given Freewill, he loves roughhousing with his sisters, Boston and Bad Company and can't resist a good wand toy when it's dangled in front of him. We do require that all pets in applicants home are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccine series, and heartworm prevention. Apply at www.pawsitivehope.org. Vaccinations/Veterinary Care: Not only do we ensure that all animals are current on their vaccinations and heartworm/worm/flea prevention as well as spayed/neutered when they leave our care, we require that any existing animals in their adopted home are kept up to date in all of these areas as well. To help the adoption process move more quickly: Please email veterinary records to adoptions@pawsitivehope.org and type the name of the animal you wish to adopt in the subject line. In addition, call your current veterinarian and let them know that we may contact them for a reference.
