Rupert & Mora's Story

Rupert & Mora — Bonded Pair • Gentle, Shy, Heart‑Healing Souls

Rupert & Mora lost the only family they ever knew when their dad had a sudden accident and was hospitalized. With no one else to care for them, they lived alone in the home for nearly three months — only brief visits for food, no real companionship, no voices, no touch. When their dad passed away, these two tender-hearted cats held onto each other to survive the silence.

Now they’re safe, loved, and slowly remembering what comfort feels like — but they’re still shy, still soft, still rebuilding their trust in the world. Rupert is the bigger, braver one, a gentle black & white boy who leans into pets once he knows you. Mora is his shadow: a fluffy tiny black girl with velvety sweetness who blossoms when Rupert is near. He is her courage; she is his calm.

They groom each other. They nap curled together. Their bond is their safety — they must be adopted together.

They’re looking for:

A quiet, stable home
Patient humans who understand shy cats
Soft beds, gentle hands, and predictable routines
A family who sees the beauty in slow-blooming trust

If you’ve ever loved a shy cat, you know: once they choose you, it’s forever.
