Run's Story

Hello! Run & Burf are a bonded pair that came to us in 2024 extremely underweight. They were at risk of euthanasia at the shelter due to a ”failure t o thrive” label. Kittens that arent gaining weight at a shelter suffer. They need more medical care and Intervention than a crowded shelter can give Burf has a congenital eye Issue, but he has been to an eye specialist and Is cleared for adoption (We Included a before & after of his eye!) Unfortunately, this bonded pair was returned due to severe unknown allergies from their previous owners son. (Their previous family loved them very much & this was a hard decision, but they tried multiple remedies beforehand). I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events. Our Adoption Process... We try to keep the adoption process as simple as possible while ensuring our cats are matched to the appropriate home based on their personality and the environment they will be living in. We want our kitties and our adopters to be equally happy! That being said you will be asked to: Pay an Adoption Fee of $60 for kitties 7 months and older. $80 for kitties 6 months and younger, or $100 for 2 kitties. We accept cash, check or credit card. Provide proof that you are 21 years of age or older. Fill out an adoption application and participate in an interview. Sign an adoption agreement.
