Rumi's Story

Meet Rumi! Originally named Roomy at the shelter she was abandoned at. She was surrendered with a nursing kitten, separated, developed mastitis, and was put out for adoption anyway. Someone else adopted her before dumping her with severe mastitis, until one of our fosters found her. Her mastitis is now resolved and she is a healthy cat!

Despite going through all this, Rumi is still so trusting of people. She will sit next to you and be happy to receive pets and cuddles. She is a quiet, serious-looking cat who would be the perfect office buddy or someone to cuddle with. She is good with children too.

We estimate her age to be about a year or younger. She is litter box trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She would be fine as a solo cat or around other cats. Apply today to meet Rumi!
