Rugby's Story

Rugby was taken into our rescue when his pet parents separated. He loves people, loves to be petted, will let you clip his nails, and you can pick him up and carry him around. This boy is three years old and easygoing. He needs a quiet, loving home where he won’t be left behind. He’s a perfect work from home companion. Community Cat Foundation's Adoption Policy

Once a potential adopter sees a post on an available a cat or kitten, we do an initial phone call, send them an application, schedule a phone or in person interview. If approved, they receive adoption counseling, They can visit the kitten of their choice, and if all works out, they take their cat home. We keep in touch with our adopters and offer microchip registration in case a cat is ever lost.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide specialty services for San Diego community cats. Five divisions have been created: 1. TNR services 2. Rescue and adoption 3. Community outreach and education 4. Feral cat sanctuary 5. Shelter and rescue partnerships to house cats temporarily as needed
