Rue's Story

Meet Rue!

Rue managed to climb 30 feet in a tree in a rural area with no mommy or siblings to be found. She screamed from the top of the tree for hours until one of our fosters saw her. We tried climbing the tree, but a 19-foot ladder didn't even come close. A tree crew also came out, and that little stinker JUMPED from the tree. She landed unscathed--minus knocking out a baby tooth. And that night, we lured her into a drop trap with a phone playing the sound of kitten cries. The rest is history!

More about Rue:

-no fear of heights
-personal interest in trees and horticulture
-considering a job in the timber industry
-committed to reforestation
-dreams of seeing the Redwoods one day

But seriously...

-playful, loves fresh catnip from the garden, really likes the big kitties in her foster house, VERY independent, was small enough to fit in a sake cup at her first pottery class (see photo), kind of a stinker

Someone adopt Rue!

All Saving Stevie kitties are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, combo tested, and microchipped.
