So far I only know cats and kids. i haven’t met any dogs so I am not sure that I like them.<br/><br/>The most important thing to know about me is that I have diabetes insipidous.<br/><br/>Diabetes insipidus (DI) is an endocrine disorder that affects the body's ability to regulate water balance, leading to excessive thirst (polydipsia) and urination (polyuria).<br/>In my case, it is caused by a deficiency in the production or release of antidiuretic hormone (ADH) from the pituitary gland.<br/><br/>The symptoms are:<br/>Excessive thirst and water consumption<br/>Frequent urination, often dilute and clear, and<br/>Dehydration (if not treated).<br/><br/>Treatment:<br/>Replacement therapy with synthetic ADH (desmopressin)<br/><br/>Prognosis:<br/>With proper treatment, most cats with DI can live long and healthy lives.
