Ruby's Story

My name is Ruby. I'm a sweet, two-year-old girl who is 10 lbs. and loves to play and nap. Since I am pretty young, I still like to play like a kitten. I would really like a kitty friend to play with and enjoy being near my human, just not getting picked up, since I am just a bit timid.
She's timid with new people but gets along well with other cats and actually needs a cat companion to show her who is safe. As soon as she sees other cats getting attention, see comes running up. Her personality seemed to change after her last Vet appointment. I've had her since she was a kitten. She loves pets and head scratches and will lay next to you but doesn't really like being picked up.
She's very bonded with my old cat, Tom. They seem to be together quite often. So if you have a neutered male and promise to keep her indoors, she would be happy. She could do well with a female too. Doesn't seem to like dogs but if she has a safe space away from them, it's not a problem. A quiet home without young children would be best because of her shyness. My favorite thing about her is her thick fur. She's soft like a bunny. Her nickname is That could change as I grow! Will you be my HERO? Fill out an application today!
