Ruby's Story

Ruby was not much more than a kitten herself when we got her as a pregnant stray. She was brought to us in a sealed cooler on a hot day, because the homeowner whose house she had been hanging around didn't want her there if she was pregnant and didn't have a cat carrier. She was very overheated when we got her, but she recovered well. If you do not hear back from us, feel free to email us at adopt@midwestpetrefuge.com Currently all our dogs are in foster homes. If you'd like to meet one, please complete an application and a meeting will be set up once you are approved. Most of our cats are located at Cat Tales, 601 N Charles St. Portland, IN.
