Ruby's Story

She is a polydactyl!

She loves her cat tree and sitting at the top so she can look over everything.

Her favorite toys are balls that roll and spring toys that bounce!

Ruby is food motivated! You open a can or treat bag and she will come running!

She has had a full dental exam and cleaning!

Ruby came from a tough past. We rescued her from a terrible hoarding situation of 120 cats.

When we got her, her bladder had pushed through a hernia in her abdomen. This was sewn up during her spay surgery but unfortunately a little bit later, the vet discovered the hernia repair didn't hold so she had to undergo ANOTHER hernia repair. This girl has been through a lot in her short life!

‍ BUT that has not stopped Miss Ruby from gradually gaining confidence, learning people can be nice and venturing out of her safe space!

Ruby is so sweet and loves pets! It takes a little time for her to learn to trust new people, but when she does, her love shines through!

She has formed a bond with the resident cats and other foster cats (especially Sai), but she tends to retreat when they get too close so she would do best as an only cat or with the slow introduction to a calm, tolerating cat or dog who would allow her to have her own space.

Due to her timid nature, Ruby would thrive in a quiet and calm household without small children. She also needs the company of another cat (s) as she is learning that play is fun & even if just watching, she enjoys it. She needs someone who understands her need for patience and offers her lots of love and reassurance.

If you're looking for a special feline companion who will reward your patience with unconditional love, Ruby might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet this precious girl and give her the forever home she deserves. #AdoptRuby

**All cats and kittens are provided age-appropriate vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV), spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and provided flea/tick prevention prior to adoption**
