Rubble's Story

** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You may need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**

Looking to add some cuddles and cuteness to your life? If so, meet Rubble! Sweet Rubble has an estimated birthdate of 6/30/26, so he's just 11 weeks old.

Rubble is a handsome boy with a heart of gold, who is an all around lovebug. Rubble is a champion cuddler who loves spending time snuggled up with his foster family and his siblings. When playtime rolls around, he's all in! His favorite toys are furry mice and anything that rattles, jingles, or makes exciting noises. While he's happy to share his love, he's a little less enthusiastic about sharing his favorite toys!

Just like most kittens, Rubble loves playing and romping with his siblings. Whether they're chasing toys, wrestling with each other, or curled up together for a nap, the adorable crew are happiest side by side.

It would be IDEAL if Rubble could be adopted together with a sibling or another HSMC kitten. Kittens adopted in pairs do SO MUCH better than kittens adopted alone. They are better adjusted and socialized, less "bitey", generally happier, plus no one can play with a kitten the way that another kitten can. Trust us when we tell you, you don't want a Kittenzilla loose in your home! Look up, "Single Kitten Syndrome". It's a real thing and it's REALLY no fun for people or the kitten. Plus you save two lives instead of one!

Being so young, Rubble would do just fine in a home with other kitties, or cat-friendly dogs. Care must be taken to protect their his size from being stepped on, sat on, hurt by a larger animal, or unintentionally injured by young children.

Would you like to meet the adorable Rubble and a sibling or other HSMC kitten too? If so, please complete an application and schedule a meet and greet once your application is approved. Remember that this cutie resides in a foster home and not at the shelter, so a meet and greet must be scheduled!

West Jefferson, Ohio
#hsmcohio

A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
