Rowan (Resilient Gentleman)'s Story
Meet Rowan – The Resilient Gentleman with the Frost-Kissed Ears

Rowan’s story is one of strength, sweetness, and second chances. Born on May 29, 2016, this handsome black and white gentleman has seen both the warmth of a home and the harshness of the streets. After being adopted and sadly abandoned, Rowan had to fend for himself outdoors, where the cold left its mark — the tips of his ears are missing from frostbite. But don’t let that fool anyone — those little ear nubs only add to his charm and tell the story of a survivor with a heart full of love.

Despite everything he’s been through, Rowan remains incredibly affectionate and outgoing. He adores gentle pets and loves spending time with people who appreciate his calm, easygoing nature. He’s an older guy now, ready to trade the chaos of the streets for cozy naps, soft blankets, and a quiet home where he can finally relax.

Rowan would do best in a peaceful environment — no dogs, please, and children over 13 who understand that mealtime is his private time. He might enjoy the company of one other mellow cat, but he prefers to be the boss of his domain.
Fully vetted and microchipped, Rowan is ready to start his next chapter with someone who will never let him down again. He’s proof that even after the coldest winters, warmth and love can still bloom.

Rowan is waiting for his forever home — could it be yours?

If you would like to adopt Rowan please complete an online Adoption Form at our website https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-application/

Or click the about us tab on this page and continue to our Adoption Application.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION:

I take the time to write bios outlining the personality of each cat. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress.

PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match. I will only contact you if I feel your application will be a good fit.

1) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
2) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet,
3) Submitting an application does not lock you into a commitment to adopt.
4) If you would like to meet one of our cats please submit an application at https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-form/

Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/carolsferalsny
