Rowan's Story

Rowan is amazingly beautiful! Her vivid color depicts her nature... like other animals of vibrant colors, her gorgeous coat says, “stay away.” She is skittish and fearful, but not at all aggressive. The worst she will do is catch you with her claws while trying to escape your grip. Rowan would be terrified of a young child’s impulsive movements. <br/>Rowan is very high strung and scares easily, so time is of the essence. She will eventually come around to the patient, caring person who feeds her and nourishes her through play. Rowan thrives on the attention of her brother Ridley. It’s imperative they be kept together.

Lauren's Lost Cats's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process begins with the potential adopter reaching out to us about their desire to adopt a cat or kitten. They are provided an adoption application, email and phone number in case they have questions or concerns. Once the application is in, Lauren ‘s Lost Cats volunteers check potential adopters place of residence, Landlord (that they allow pets) Vetrinary reference, personal references, Do Not Adopt Lists and social media to provide rescue with a snap shot of the adopters ability to care for, afford, and love the animal they adopt. In our application is a description of our desire to stay in contact with and assist adopter in the future.
