Rosita (Rosie)'s Story
This gorgeous Marble Tabby is Rosita or affectionally known as Rosie. She has the most striking swirls of black stripes on her fur which we call marbling.
She along with her sister JoJo and 7 brothers came from a very sad situation. One of our fosters also traps cats and she was trapping some outside of a house locally. The home owner pleaded with her for help with 9 kittens that were born in her home by a semi-feral momma cat who they had brought inside to try and socialize along with several other female and male cats. They had the best of intentions, but it all got away from them, and their home was a mess, urine and feces everywhere.
Rosie can be a little shy at first, but, once she gets used to you and know that you aren’t going to harm her, she will come to you for pets and rubs. Rosie is very outgoing. She can be just a little demanding when it comes to getting her pets and also when it's time to eat; she wants to get her food and treats first. If you have food in your hand she is especially loving as she is very food motivated. This could possibly stem for the fact that she had to fight other kittens and adults in the home she was born in.
Rosie has been living in a foster home with other cats. She has not been introduced to dogs, but, because of her young age, she should be okay if proper care is given when introducing her.
Rosie would be better in a home with children over the age of 10 yrs. old. OF COURSE ADULT SUPERVISION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGE WITH ANY YOUNG CHILDREN AROUND SMALL ANIMALS.
Born 04/24/2025, Rosie has been spayed, FIV/feLV tested negative, received her Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, been dewormed, parasite treated and on flea/tick preventative. She is also microchipped.
