Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. <br/><br/><br/>ROSITA BUSTILLOS and 12 other relatives of his were all dumped at a church in Whittier, California. These poor babies were left in the sun in a total of two carriers in front of a church. Needless to say, the rescue mama set course that day to pick them up. It took us 2 days to get them all to the rescue and to foster care.<br/><br/><br/>So ROSITA BUSTILLOS (named after the show: WYNONNA EARP) we believe was kept very well by whomever abandoned them. With all the tragedy that has happened to this young girl and his family, she deserves to have a wonderful home. She is now been living a nice pampered life. <br/><br/><br/>ROSITA BUSTILLOS is a sweet, cuddle bug. You can see in her sweet little face, she is has the look of wanting love. She really loves to play with toys, especially laser pointers and feather toys.. She loves her can food. She likes to be involved. She also loves to watch TV. She needs a real family that will love him like their own family member. <br/><br/><br/>ROSITA BUSTILLOS is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU-TABBY MIX. She is 1 year old and is good with cats. She has never been around young children, but she does seem very curious about dogs.<br/><br/><br/>ROSITA BUSTILLOS is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS:<br/><br/>1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)<br/>2. Fill Out Online Form<br/>3. Submit Online Application<br/>4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview<br/>5. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>********************** MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS ***********************<br/><br/>FEBRUARY 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. <br/><br/><br/>Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.<br/><br/><br/>The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.<br/><br/><br/>PETSMART<br/>in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue<br/><br/>in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue<br/><br/>in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue<br/><br/>or any PETSMART near you!<br/><br/><br/>The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!<br/><br/><br/>************ PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS *************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.<br/><br/><br/>ROSITA BUSTILLOS is ALREADY fully vetted. <br/>The adoption fee of $200 covers: <br/><br/><br/>Spay<br/>FVRCP shots<br/>RABIES shot<br/>FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)<br/>Drontal Dewormer<br/>Stronghold Flea Control<br/>Microchip<br/><br/><br/>We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
